Project overview
Melancholic Present is an editorial project inspired by the gothic subculture and its reinterpretation in contemporary culture. The concept explores how gothic aesthetics evolve and resurface today through new forms of expression, creating an intertextual dialogue between the past and the present. The project reflects on melancholy as a visual language, using styling, atmosphere, and symbolic elements to express how the gothic identity manifests in the current cultural landscape.
